If you ever want to see your media files on your  iPod  without opening up the iTunes player, here are the steps to do it:
  • Go  Control Panel and select  Appearance  and Themes and or Personalization. Under  Folder Options,   click on  show hidden files and folders,  a pop-up window appears and under View tab,  check on the box that says, show hidden files, folders and drives. Be sure to press  Apply button, then click on Okay button, too.

  • Open up Files and or My  Computer Explorer, Then  find the iPod icon , expand it and click on Music Folder, go to the window's   task pane , you will see your Music Sub-folders namely: F00, F01, F02, and so on.
  •  These folders have gotten all your MP3'S,  just open them one at a time then select all the files  you want to copy or duplicate and  keep them in a usb or on your computer's hard drive for a back up, just in case, if someday you will lost your iPod or accidentally get deleted all your media  files on your iPod device.
  • I learned these things from school  of course, and remember it  ever since, because my son,  likes  to listen to foreign music  and who is  also  into iPod devices.
